Cajon Valley’s Hour of Code 2016

Cajon Valley’s Hour of Code 2016 was a HUGE success thanks to the enthusiasm and involvement of our teachers, principals, and even parents!  Whether it was a school-wide event or teachers creating activities for their students, the week created a positive buzz around the district.  Thank you to all of you who shared your photos and experiences with us.  Please enjoy the video we have created  for you (and your students) to enjoy.  Hopefully, your interest in Hour of Code and exposure to Code.org will inspire you to add Computer Science to your classroom curriculum.  If you have not yet attended a Code.org workshop, please look for upcoming opportunities and join us!  After attending a workshop, you will return to your classroom with a complete curriculum as well as the tools to get started.  **Please note that you need no prior experience or education in Computer Science to implement this program right into your everyday teaching!

Thank you again for creating such an innovative, motivating experience for our students.  We really appreciated all of you who filled out our forms with comments and suggestions that will help us as we plan next year’s Hour of Code!  As a thank you, Print Shop has created a great banner for your site – if not already delivered, it will be delivered soon!

Thank you for all you do…
